Are you in the dark when it comes to whiskey, bourbon and rye? Smokey, dry, big, subtle, rich? Do you feel that same way about poker? Us, too, which is why we called in the big guns. Dana Zeller is a woman who knows her whiskey. Dana will walk us through a tasting and bring us up to speed on all things whiskey, bourbon and rye. We will even learn to make a classic whiskey cocktail so you can really impress folks at your next cocktail party! We will also pair that whisky with some poker playing. We will learn from a poker expert the ins and outs of this classic card game. Come mingle and enjoy a welcoming, relaxed environment as you connect with fellow NoW community members.
 

About DANA

Dana Zeller is the co-founder of Smoky Beast, a whisky blog that she created with her husband Steve in 2015.  Their goal was simple: to drink a lot of great whisky and write about it in a way that was approachable and amusing to the masses.  After the success of the blog, they went on to create The Beast Masters Club with their friend Ben.  While the club started as a gathering of like-minded friends to drink whisky, it has morphed into a 10,000 person strong community of people sharing their love of a dram.   By day, Dana works in finance, and is a mom to 8 year old Lily.
